CaSE has published an extra October e-bulletin, giving a summary of all CaSE’s activities over the last two weeks. These include:
- A new investigation by CaSE has found that Whitehall departments have cut their research and development (R&D) budgets disproportionately – despite suggestions that such spending would be protected.
- Do you want to change policy and politics to make the UK a better place for scientists and engineers, or know someone who does? We’re looking for interested and passionate people to join the Campaign for Science and Engineering’s governing body.
- With the last of the three main party conferences coming to a close last week, CaSE has put together a summary of the big news for science and engineering.
- The 2012 CaSE Annual Lecture is scheduled to take place on the evening of Tuesday 27th November. Further details of our eminent guest speaker will be published shortly.
